The mission of the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce is to enhance and sustain the economic environment and the quality of life in our community.
The chamber was incorporated May 29, 1931. We currently have approximately 200 members which include businesses, non-profit agencies, and individuals. The vast majority of the members are within 15 miles of Massena however some are further away to include Canada, Plattsburgh, Alexandria Bay, etc.
The objectives of the chamber align with our mission. To promote Massena and our members, economic growth for the area and our members, partner with local government to create a better quality of life for the community and our members, and we are the information clearing house for other chambers, state attractions, and our members.
We have brochures and travel guides for different states, our Member Businesses and many local and regional attractions. In the office are seasonal guides, maps, and literature promoting many of our local tourism hot spots and of course staff eager to help! We even have fantastic souvenirs, postcards, and shirts available for sale at the office and also during the summer months at our Seaway Locks store!
Members always get to put out their business cards and brochures for free!

Concerts in the Park
Since 1959 our Chamber has put on our Concerts in the Park series right here in Massena NY. The series usually takes place during the Summer months right at Springs Park. Eisenhower Lock Gift Store
Every year from Memorial Day (May) to Labor Day (September) the Eisenhower Lock Visitor Center opens it’s doors and with it we open our Eisenhower Lock Gift Store. In the gift shop you can find many interesting and unique items made or provided by local businesses. Some things our gift shop usually has; Maple Syrup, Lock/Seaway Branded Clothing, Lock/Seaway Souvenirs, Postcards, Magnets, Mugs, and books.
