SLC Arts Council will host a February Gala

POTSDAM – Mark your calendars and get out your dancing shoes, the 2013 SLC Arts Council Transition Gala will be on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 5:00pm at the Crary Mills Grange Hall. The evening will begin with a potluck dinner and annual meeting followed by live music from local favorites including, Minor Swing and Northbound. Come celebrate with friends new and old and find out how to get involved in your SLC Arts Council.
The St. Lawrence County Arts Council Transition Campaign is well underway with many exciting events and giving opportunities. The SLC Arts Council is celebrating the long and dedicated service of outgoing executive director, Hilary Oak, and welcoming the incoming executive director, Rebekah Wilkins-Pepiton (Beka). The annual meeting is a chance to hear about the exciting programs offered at the SLC Arts Council and join in the future of this important cultural institution.
The evening will include dinner, a silent auction with donations from talented North Country artists and writers, and musical entertainment from North Country favorites, Minor Swing and Northbound.
